Russ Pallesen is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor and attorney with extensive experience in creating and financing successful start-up ventures across multiple industries throughout his 25-year career in private equity. He currently serves as Managing Director of Trivergance LLC and is of Counsel at DLA Piper. Mr. Pallsen has been instrumental in creating and financing several successful start-up ventures in the employee staffing, telemarketing, data communications and internet broadcasting industries, among others. As Counsel with the international law firm of DLA Piper, Mr. Pallesen also advises entrepreneurs and professional investors regarding various strategic, financial and merger/acquisition activities. He has created or led private equity practice groups at several major law firms specializing in venture capital finance, mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities matters and contests for corporate control. Mr. Pallesen previously was a Managing Director and principal investor with Vision Capital Partners, LLC, a venture firm which he co-founded in 1997. Mr. Pallesen graduated from The Harvard Law School and received his BA from the University of Iowa.
