Sage leads the acquisitions effort at Trinity and is responsible for business development, due diligence, fundraising, and portfolio growth strategy. Sage currently serves on the boards of directors for Gold Landscape, Robokind, PocketBrew and Mercury Flight. He has been involved in numerous private equity related investments in industries including healthcare, industrial services, marine products, manufacturing, craft beer, software, and robotics. For the six years prior to joining Trinity, Sage was a principal at Evolve Capital and focused primarily on business development, fundraising, and growth strategy. Prior thereto, Sage was an executive with Careerbuilder designing, packaging and selling large-scale consulting solutions addressing human capital challenges and sales force optimization. In this role, his clients included AT&T, Live Nation, JB Hunt, Exxon Mobil, and Flour, among many others.​ Sage graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.A. in psychology.
