As a Managing Partner of Trinity Hunt, Pete Stein is on the Fund’s Investment Committee and responsible for deal origination, portfolio company monitoring, and the overall management, strategy and operations of Trinity Hunt. He is Chairman of the Board of IMS ExpertServices, Juris Medicus, Veracity Research Company, and WEXCO, as well as a board member of Family Help & Wellness. Previously, Pete served on the boards of Consilio, Lexitas, Lakeview Health, Castlewood Treatment Center, Jordan Health Services, National Default Holdings (NDEx), Eating Recovery Center, and Lone Star Fasteners, and as interim CEO of the latter. Pete has been with Trinity Hunt and its predecessor, Hunt Capital, since its founding in 1993, following his time as Assistant Vice President in the Dallas Corporate Finance branch of Banc One Capital Corporation and at key positions in both the Dallas and New York offices of Prudential-Bache, and after owning and operating a franchise business. Having completed approximately 27 successful investments in numerous industries, his experience in private equity is extensive. Pete holds a B.S. in Finance from Babson College and an M.B.A. with honors in Finance and International Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University. Despite his busy schedule, he enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, playing hockey, mission work, volunteering at a community crisis center, and spending time with his wife and three children.
