Mr. Walcott joined Torch Hill Investment Partners in 2011 and focuses primarily on transaction execution and portfolio monitoring and development. Mr. Walcott has spent much of his career investing and operating in the defense and government services, automotive and firearms industries. Prior to Torch Hill he spent seven years at Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. in the Private Equity Group and in executive positions within two Cerberus portfolio companies, where he was involved with nine completed acquisitions representing over $7 billion of invested capital, as well as numerous financing and restructuring transactions. Most recently, Mr. Walcott served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development for IAP Worldwide Services, a $1 billion revenue defense contractor controlled by Cerberus. Prior to IAP, Mr. Walcott served as Vice President of Strategic Planning for Freedom Group, Inc., the largest global commercial markets manufacturer of firearms and ammunition, also controlled by Cerberus. Prior to Cerberus, he spent five years in investment banking at Legacy Securities and JPMorgan’s Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Walcott graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor degree in English and Economics.
