Shahab Vagefi joined Thomas H. Lee Partners in 2021. Shahab Vagefi is a managing director at Thomas H. Lee Partners. Mr. Vagefi is currently a director at Intelligent Medical Objects. Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Vagefi was a founding partner at Martis Capital where he principally focused on services and information technology investments in the healthcare industry. Prior to Martis Capital, Mr. Vagefi was a senior associate in the U.S. Growth Buyout fund at The Carlyle Group. Mr. Vagefi began his career in investment banking with Credit Suisse First Boston and JP Morgan H&Q. Mr. Vagefi holds a joint BA-MA degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University and the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Vagefi is a member of the Johns Hopkins Leadership Fellows.
