Jeff Schechter joined Thomas H. Lee Partners in 2022. Jeff Schechter is a managing director and chief financial officer at Thomas H. Lee Partners. Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Schechter was managing director with Sterling Partners in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD, where he served as chief financial officer from 2006-2013, chief operating officer from 2013-2017 and as an operating partner from 2017-2021. Prior to joining Sterling, Mr. Schechter spent 11 years at Grotech Capital Group as partner and chief financial officer. Mr. Schechter began his career with Ernst & Young. Mr. Schechter holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Finance from Loyola College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Certified Financial Planner.
