Marcel Bernard is a Senior Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. He has more than 40 years of business operating experience, primarily with companies in the technology industry. Most recently, he was Corporate Vice President, Operations of Geac Computer Corporation, a performance management software company, where he was responsible for the management and overall performance of several business units located in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, representing $250 million in revenues. Previously, Marcel was Senior Vice President, Ontario Division, of St. Lawrence Cement, where he was responsible for the management of all Ontario business units, representing over $400 million in revenues. Marcel was also President and CEO of SaskTel, Saskatchewan’s largest phone company with $600 million in revenues and over 4,200 employees. He also held various positions with Motorola Corporation, most notably as President of Motorola Canada.
