Bio

Robert (Bob) Hausmann is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo, bringing over 35 years of software and SAAS industry experience. Since joining the firm in 2016, Bob has served on the Boards of several Thoma Bravo portfolio companies, including Motus, Riskonnect, Nintex, T2, Veriforce, Raptor, Magnet, and Everbridge. From 2005 to 2021, Bob also served as a Board Member and Chairman of the public company ZIX Corporation (NASDAQ ZIXI). Beginning in 2009, Bob was Co-founder, Director, and Chief Financial Officer of TetraSun, a solar cell R&D and Manufacturing company that was sold to First Solar in 2013. From 1999 through 2008, he served as CFO, CEO, and/or Board Member with Securify and Resonate, where he managed the company's IPO. Before these positions, he served as Operations Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Mohr, Davidow Ventures (1997 – 1999), a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, and as Chief Financial Officer of Red Brick Systems (1991 – 1997), where he managed the company's IPO. Earlier in his career, he also served in various Accounting, Finance and Operations roles with Cadence Design Systems (1990 – 1991) and Compuware (1985 – 1990). Bob earned an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in Finance and Accounting from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
