Bio

Loren Schlachet co-founded and leads the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund. He guides investment and operating teams in the acquisition, growth and sale of portfolio companies, as well as the strategic direction of the fund. He has been honored as the PE Dealmaker of the Year by Global M&A Network, and in 2012, he was recognized as one of M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40. Prior to Riverside, Mr. Schlachet was an Associate for Claremont Capital Corporation and TCW Capital, and an Analyst for Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. In addition to his work with Riverside, he serves on the board of trustees for the Portland Art Museum. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from New York University.
