Matt is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at The Edgewater Funds. Prior to joining The Edgewater Funds, Matt was Executive Vice President at the Marmon Group, responsible for multiple groups of businesses. These groups comprised more than 56 autonomous businesses with 11,000 employees and were generating more than $5 billion in annual revenue. The companies serve the Transportation, Plumbing & Refrigeration, Metal Distribution, Industrial, and Funeral Services markets. Matt emphasizes sustainable profitable growth through customer-focused innovation and bolt-on acquisitions. During his Marmon tenure, he led numerous acquisitions, adding critical products and services to Marmon growth platforms. Before joining Marmon in 2009, Matt served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Handy & Harman and previously held the same position at Asimco International. He began his career at Delphi Automotive as a Marketing Analyst. He received his Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and political science from Indiana University. Matt is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and a former board member of World Business Chicago.
