Tom Stanton is a Principal in Investor Relations. He is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Stanton was a Client Portfolio Manager at Gresham Investment Management, a diversified commodity asset management firm based in New York. Prior to Gresham, Mr. Stanton was a Director at UBS Alternative Investments and a Vice President at Dearborn Capital Management, where he was responsible for helping financial advisors implement alternative investments into their client portfolios using a consultative approach. Mr. Stanton started his career with MassMutual doing institutional sales in the qualified plan arena and spent several years as Vice President for Lockwood, an investment consulting firm. Mr. Stanton has a BA in history from Gettysburg College. He maintains FINRA licenses 3, 6, 7, 63 and 65. He holds state registrations in CT, DE, DC, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, NC, PA, RI, SC, VT, VA and WV.
