Tarun Garg is a Director focused on India portfolio. He is based in Mumbai. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Garg was Regional Director for India region for Abbott’s medicine business where he led the regional strategy, transformation projects and digital agenda. Prior to that, he was a Junior Partner at McKinsey and Company focusing on growth, digital and advanced analytics. Earlier in his career, he has worked on technology, sales and risk at Cadence Design Systems, Philips, and Microsoft. Mr. Garg is a Post-Graduate in Management from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad with Dean’s list distinction. He received his Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi University.
