Bio

Simon is a Managing Director of the European buyout advisory group, leading buyout activities in the UK and healthcare coverage across Europe. He serves on the board of PA Consulting. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Dingemans was Chief Financial Officer for GlaxoSmithKline plc and a member of the main Board from 2011 to 2019. Before GSK, he was an investment banker for 25 years at SG Warburg and then Goldman Sachs where he was a Partner for 10 years as a leader of their European M&A business and Head of UK Investment Banking. Most recently, Mr. Dingemans was Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council.
