S.D. Chu is a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager responsible for overseeing Investor Relations in Korea. He is based in Singapore. Mr. Chu joined Carlyle in 2012 from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he was responsible for institutional distribution and client coverage for more than four years. Prior to Credit Suisse, he worked for Citibank Korea Inc. as Chief of Staff & Business Development Manager of Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities as well as Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Citibank N.A., Union Bank of Switzerland and The First National Bank of Chicago, based in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul, mainly in the fields of structured products and investor marketing. Mr. Chu graduated from Seoul National University with a BBA and received his MBA from the Graduate School of Seoul National University.
