Mindy Mackenzie is Managing Director for Global Private Equity specializing on maximizing organizational, operational and leadership effectiveness through leveraging expertise in change management, strategy, culture and engagement—and the interplay of those four elements in driving performance. She is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Mackenzie was Founder and Principal of her own firm focused on advising Chief Executive Officers and their teams on how to unlock and accelerate performance. In addition to serving as Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, she served as global head of strategy, mergers and acquisitions and human resources at liquor giant Jim Beam, and earlier in her career lived and worked internationally for Campbell Soup Company and Walmart Stores, Inc. in senior human capital leadership roles. Ms. Mackenzie is the author of the 2016 Wall Street Journal bestseller, The Courage Solution: The Power of Truth Telling With Your Boss, Peers, and Team.
