Chioma Achebe Bio

Chioma Achebe is a Vice President in Global Private Equity. She is based in Washington, DC. Ms. Achebe provides strategic and operational support to investment teams and portfolio companies as part of the Global Investment Resources group. She leads corporate real estate, energy, and operational improvement initiatives at Carlyle portfolio companies. Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Achebe was at the Boston Consulting Group, where she worked closely with clients to drive large-scale transformations across a range of industries. Ms. Achebe received her MBA from Harvard Business School and JD from Harvard Law School, and graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in economics. She is a member of the New York Bar, and serves on the Board of the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia.
