Charles S. Munzig is a Principal focused on buyouts and growth equity investments in the technology sector. He is based in Washington, DC. Since joining Carlyle in 2009, Mr. Munzig has been involved with the firm’s investments in Accelerate Learning, KLDiscovery, Net Health Systems, Quorum Software (sold to Silver Lake Partners), RMI (sold to GE), Unison, Wall Street Institute (sold to Pearson) and WorldStrides (sold to Metalmark Capital), among others. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Munzig worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co., where he advised clients on a range of M&A and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Munzig received his BA with a double major in economics and English from Wesleyan University.
