Antonio Capo is a Managing Director and serves as Operating Partner for Carlyle’s European Buyout Group. He is based in London. Prior to Carlyle, Antonio was a Partner at TPG Capital, where he led the Firm’s Operations Team in Europe. Prior to TPG, he was a Senior Director at restructuring and turnaround firm Alvarez & Marsal. Antonio started his business career in strategy consulting at McKinsey, after serving as a Second Lieutenant in the Italian Army. Antonio received his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, a M.A. in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium) and a B.S. in Monetary Economics from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy).
