Anna Tye is a Managing Director in the Technology, Media and Telecom group. Ms. Tye focuses on buyout and growth equity investments in enterprise software, financial technology, and tech-enabled services businesses. She is based in Washington, D.C. Since joining Carlyle in 2009, Ms. Tye has led or been a key contributor to Carlyle’s investments in Tribute Technology, Dealogic plc (acquired by ION), ION Group, OpenLink Financial (acquired by H&F), and Workforce Logiq. Ms. Tye also assisted with Carlyle’s pre-existing investments in SS&C Technologies (ticker: SSNC), Open Solutions (acquired by Fiserv), and CPU Technology (acquired by Boeing). Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Tye was with Arcapita in Atlanta as well as with Copper Arch Capital and Morgan Stanley in New York, where she focused on technology companies. Ms. Tye is currently a member of the boards of Tribute Technology and Workforce Logiq, and previously was on the board at Dealogic and a board observer at ION and OpenLink. Ms. Tye received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and both a BS in economics and a BA in Spanish from Duke University.
