Richard Blair is a Senior Managing Director and the firm’s General Counsel Asia Pacific. He sits on a number of boards including for The Blackstone Group (HK) Limited and Blackstone Singapore Pte. Ltd. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Blair was an M&A partner at the law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and worked in London, Singapore and Hong Kong. Mr. Blair received a Bachelor of Laws with European Legal Studies from King’s College London and a Diploma in European Legal Studies from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
