David Winston is a Principal with Texas Next Capital. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he worked with J.P. Morgan in Austin and Vision Research in Dallas, a short-only equity research shop. David graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Business Fellows. While attending Baylor, David served as an Analyst with the Baylor Angel Network where he analyzed more than 75 early-stage companies seeking capital. David is responsible for deal sourcing, execution and working with our portfolio companies. He has passed all three levels of the CFA Program, Series 7 and 63 exams.
