Jon Hustis has a legal and executive career extending across national and global technology businesses. His experience includes a diverse range of enterprises, from start-ups seeking seed capital to multi-national Fortune 500 enterprises such as Texas Instruments and Oracle Corporation. Prior to joining Teakwood, Jon was a law partner with the Dallas offices of the national firm of Culhane Meadows PLLC, and the Texas law firm of Phillips & Reiter PLLC. Jon was also general counsel at global technology businesses GENBAND and MetaSolv Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: MSLV). He served MetaSolv Software for over ten years, from startup days through its IPO in 1999, and then on through its sale in 2007 to Oracle Corporation. Before that, he worked in legal, business and finance positions at Texas Instruments and FoxMeyer Drug Company. Jon founded a general law practice that served clients in Dallas for seven years immediately following his graduation from law school. Jon holds an undergraduate degree in liberal arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland, and a law degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a member of the Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation’s board of directors, and has been active in various local organizations relating to law, technology and business. He lives in Dallas.
