Matthew joined Talis’ investment team in 2013. Having spent years working first-hand with Talis’ founders and companies in their early stages, Matthew is now the dedicated Operating Partner, focusing his time on supporting our portfolio companies on a whole range of projects. Matthew thrives off the variety of gamechanging entrepreneurs and companies that we get to meet every week – both in our portfolio and pipeline. Matthew is also an active angel investor as well as a mentor for Launchit, a social enterprise offering support to young entrepreneurs, and holds a BSc (Hons) Economics from The London School of Economics. Outside of work, Matthew is a big F1 fan – you’ll find him travelling to watch the races at the weekends, as well as listening to the 90s and 00s soundtrack of his childhood – and one day wants to build his own cars (but is sticking to just driving them for now!).
