Mr. DeArman joined Tailwater at inception and is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio oversight. Mr. DeArman currently serves as a Director of Pivotal Petroleum and has over 16 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Tailwater Capital, he was President and CEO of Apex Global Partners, Inc. a Dallas based property and casualty and employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm. Prior to joining Apex, Mr. DeArman was a Principal with Petro-Hunt, L.L.C. During his tenure at Petro-Hunt, he worked with members of the Herbert Hunt Family to oversee all family investments in public and private companies, investment partnerships as well as alternative investments. Mr. DeArman joined Petro-Hunt from Atlas Capital Management, L.P. where his responsibilities included deal sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring the firm’s investments. He also served as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group of Bear, Stearns & Co. Mr. DeArman graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma from Southern Methodist University with BBAs in Finance and Organizational Behavior and Business Policy.
