Sharon is an Operating Partner focusing on consumer companies in beauty, food, and beverage. She currently is a board member at Stripes portfolio companies Levain Bakery and Califia Farms. Before joining Stripes, Sharon served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer and Global Chief Product Officer of Starbucks, the $100+ billion market cap specialty coffee retailer, where she oversaw the Starbucks brand, go-to-market plan, and product platforms. Under Sharon’s leadership, the company innovated their coffee, tea, and food products with the launch of Flat White, Cold Brew, Nitro Cold Brew, Teavana Shaken Ice Teas, and Sous Vide Egg Bites. Sharon was an essential leader in the evolution of the Starbucks Rewards platform, mobile e-commerce business, and the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. Prior to Starbucks, Sharon served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Sephora, the leading specialty beauty retailer owned by LVMH. She authored the company’s global brand positioning, helped elevate Sephora to a preeminent beauty brand, and contributed to its rapid growth during her tenure. She also played an integral role in transforming Sephora’s digital experience by developing immersive content across all channels, changing how consumers shop for beauty.
