Tracy Schwartz-Ward is a Partner at Strand Equity. She is also Managing Principal at Schwartz Capital Group, where she serves on the Investment and Operations Committees and oversees the firm’s operations, philanthropy and impact investing. Previously, Tracy was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of OppLoans. Tracy began her career as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, working with Industrial clients and alongside Investment Banking senior leadership on internal strategic priorities. Her passion for social impact led her to Bangalore, India, where she worked with Unitus Labs and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop innovative capital markets strategies and inclusive financial products and services. Tracy graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with a concentration in Marketing. Tracy is a member of the Philanthropic Advisory Council for the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Northwestern as well as the Executive Board of Northwestern’s Chemistry of Life Process Institute.
