Sunit is a Managing Director with STG. Sunit has led STG’s investment in Erecruit (acquired by Bullhorn), Sciforma, Wrike, and he helped lead and manage STG’s investments in Symphony Talent, Jobrapido, Symphony Health Solutions (sold to PRA Health Sciences), and Ventiv (sold to Tailwind Capital). Prior to STG, Sunit most recently worked as an investment professional at a San Francisco based, mid-market private equity firm, Champlain Capital Partners, where he focused on business services, asset light manufacturing and consumer products. Sunit worked on acquisitions of and strategic/financial initiatives with several portfolio companies including B27 LLC, Freeman Beauty and Bergensons Property Services. Prior to business school, Sunit worked at Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Consultant where he focused on business development initiatives and advising clients in industries such as healthcare, software/hi-tech, financial services/insurance and manufacturing on IT strategy and operational improvements especially in the area of pricing strategy and optimization. He also worked at Citigroup Investment Banking in New York and ILFS Growth Equity in Mumbai, India. Sunit has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a MS degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. At Georgia Tech, Sunit’s MS thesis on designing materials in zero gravity situations using 3D computational modeling was sponsored by NASA and National Science Foundation (NSF). Sunit currently serves on the board of directors of Jobrapido, Sciforma, and Wrike.
