As Director of IT and Security, Ravi oversees STG’s technology operations which include maintaining information security, operational resiliency, and cybersecurity regulatory posture. Ravi brings over 18 years of technical experience acquired through various roles at a variety of companies in the technology sector. Ravi joined STG in 2013 and had driven the modernization of their operational infrastructure, including the leveraging of cloud-based services. He has focused on improving overall security through implementation of technologies, policies, and procedures, and driving end-user adoption for standards. Ravi led key business initiatives for the firm centered around data loss protection, backup and recovery, managed IT and security services implementation, and helpdesk rollout. Prior to STG, Ravi held various roles at Symphony Teleca (“STC”), a portfolio company of STG, and various of its subsidiaries. Most recently, Ravi was STC’s IT Manager where he drove operational initiatives between corporate offices throughout USA and India. His responsibilities included the migration of operational resources into STC’s global infrastructure, including assisting with the implementation of other STG portfolio companies’ outsourcing of services to STC. Ravi was also responsible for providing end-user support to STG management company and maintained their network and servers as part of STC’s managed services offerings. Prior to that, Ravi held various IT operations and senior application engineer roles at other STC-acquired entities – Symphony-Metreo and SymphonyRPM. Ravi graduated from San Jose State University in 2002 with a BS Computer Science and Mathematics.
