Ishan Manaktala Bio

Ishan Manaktala is an Operating Partner with STG where he works actively with the deal team on commercial due diligence and is engaged with STG portfolio companies in their value creation and growth initiatives. Prior to joining STG, Ishan was an Operating Partner at Symphony AI (SAI) where he actively worked with portfolio companies on their transformational journey —from ideation, incubation, acquisition, and growth to exit. At SAI he was a board member of Symphony Media AI and CEO of Ayasdi AI. Before joining SAI, Ishan was Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director of CoreOne Technologies, an STG portfolio company that was successfully exited to IHSMarkit (NYSE: INFO). At CoreOne he assumed roles of progressive leadership scope—from managing offshore operations and owning P&L for strategic business units to CFO and COO functions. Ishan spent the first decade of his career in Capital Markets Technology in varied entrepreneurial roles of pre-sales and product at Deutsche Bank, Citi Group, and Russell Investment Group. Ishan has a dual MBA degree from Columbia Business School and London Business School. He currently serves on the board of directors of Nomis.
