As Vice President of Finance, Cindy is responsible for leading STG’s accounting, human resources and financial planning and analysis groups. Cindy brings over 20 years of private equity fund administration, partnership accounting and tax experience. Cindy joined STG in mid-2019 from Illumina Ventures, where she was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer responsible for all reporting, compliance and administrative functions of the venture firm. Her career in private equity began at HM Capital (formerly Hicks, Muse, Tate, and Furst) overseeing GAAP and tax reporting for funds totaling over $12 billion in AUM. After 9 years she left HM Capital to develop and lead JP Morgan’s private equity fund services group in Dallas as a Vice President in charge of providing administration services to HM Capital and other private equity firms. After relocating to the Bay Area, Cindy joined CM Capital, an advisor to a prominent Hong Kong-based family, as the Director of Accounting where she focused on reporting and tax for various assets classes within the portfolio. She returned to fund administration joining Standish Management as a Director, providing CFO level services to various private equity, venture capital, and FOF clients. Cindy is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
