Anne Russ is a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets for STG. She leads the firm’s financing activities across new investments and existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining STG, Anne worked in investment banking for over 20 years. Most recently, Anne was a Managing Director and Head of Technology, Media and Telecom Leveraged Finance at Goldman Sachs, where she was responsible for originating, structuring and executing debt financings across leveraged loans and high yield bonds for both corporate and financial sponsor clients. Previously, Anne worked for Goldman Sachs in London for several years, focused on M&A transactions for financial sponsors. She started her career as an analyst in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. Anne graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Amherst College.
