Amy joined Sterling in 2001 and is a Managing Director of Business Development. In her role, Amy develops and manages an extensive network of deal sources and cultivates investment opportunities. Previously, she was a partner at a SBIC private equity fund where she sourced proprietary investment opportunities from CEOs. Amy spent eight years as a senior executive in the investor relations industry advising public company CEOs on market positioning and communication. Prior to that, she was a vice president in equity research at Drexel Burnham Lambert covering the U.S. and British apparel industries. Earlier in her career, Amy was an analyst in the corporate finance department of Smith Barney. Amy earned a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
