Bio

Mr. Weld is a member of the private equity team, focusing on co-investments and small-market buyout managers. He is also involved in various portfolio management activities. Prior to joining StepStone in 2012, Mr. Weld was a director at Parish Capital in London and New York, where he was a member of the investment team and executed primary, secondary, and co-investment transactions. Before that he was with BancBoston Capital, where he analyzed buyout and venture investments. Mr. Weld received a BA from Middlebury College, where he majored in political science. He received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and his Master of Law & Diplomacy at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Mr. Weld is a CFA charterholder.
