Bio

Mr. Choi is a member of the Business Development team, focusing on South Korea. Prior to joining StepStone, Mr. Choi was an investment manager for real estate and private credit at Fubon Hyundai Life Insurance. Before that, he worked in real estate investment team at Hanwha Asset Management and also at Hyundai Asset Management, where he was responsible for underwriting and client servicing. Previously, he worked for Samsung C&T Corporation as a civil engineer. Mr. Choi received a BS in civil engineering from Korea University in Seoul, and a MRED (Master’s Real Estate Development) from University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is also a CFA charterholder.
