Khalif Edwards is a Managing Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for raising capital within North America on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments. Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2021, Mr. Edwards was a Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising and Investor Relations for Cityview. Before that, Mr. Edwards spent eight years at Clarion Partners where he oversaw capital raising and investor relations for the Western United States. He also worked at Nuveen Asset Management (formerly TIAA-CREF), Merrill Lynch and Eastdil Secured. Mr. Edwards received a B.A. in economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.
