Shaun is a Managing Director at Staple Street Capital. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence and working with our management teams to create value. Prior to joining Staple Street Capital, Mr. Fitzgibbon was a Principal at H.I.G. Capital focusing on U.S. middle market transactions. Mr. Fitzgibbon was responsible for all key aspects of the private equity investment process, including: origination, due diligence, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies. Mr. Fitzgibbon has investment experience across a wide range of industries including business and consumer services, industrial, healthcare, and consumer products. While at H.I.G., Mr. Fitzgibbon served on the boards of Taconic Biosciences, Town & Country, Salary.com, Accupac, All-American Homes, ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, HFI, Pro-Pet, and Binder & Binder. Mr. Fitzgibbon began his private equity career at Landmark Partners on their Landmark Growth Capital Partners fund. Mr. Fitzgibbon earned his M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth as an Edward Tuck Scholar with high distinction and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College, magna cum laude. He is also a CFA charterholder.
