Bio

Simon is a Founding Partner at Stanley Capital. Since founding SC, Simon has originated and led the Noden Pharma, Essential, Qinecsa and Laboratoire XO investments. Prior to this, Simon gained lead investor experience as Managing Director and investment committee member at Ardian and Director at Hg Capital. At Ardian and Hg Capital Simon led or co-led deals into Parts Alliance, GSF, DDS Software, Zenith, Leasedrive, Trigo and Envision Pharma. Simon was named as one of the top 40 under 40 private equity practitioners in the inaugural Financial News awards in 2013. Simon’s pre-investing background was as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup, and a technology and healthcare management consultant at Arthur D Little. Simon was a British Olympian in the Athens Olympic Games in 2004 (Rowing) and holds an MBA (INSEAD) and an MA (Oxford) where he was a Richard Blackwell Scholar and multiple College Prize winner in 1997 and 1998. Before university Simon held an IBM Scholarship where he finished first in his Scholarship class and helped program early voice recognition software.
