Bio

Matt joined Spire Capital in 2018 as the Director of Finance. Matt is responsible for internal accounting, control and compliance matters as well as working with portfolio company investments on financial and operational issues. Prior to joining Spire, Matt was the Controller at FS Investments, an asset manager providing access to alternative sources of income and growth with responsibilities of including financial reporting, fund development, operations and administration. Prior to FS Investments, Matt worked at Deloitte in the Audit & Assurance services with a primary focus on the alternative asset industry. Additionally, Matt worked at ParenteBeard LLC as a senior accountant. Matt graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Matt is also a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”), licensed in Pennsylvania.
