Kirk Johnson joined Southworth as a Managing Director in 2019, after 14 years of corporate finance, debt capital markets and loan syndication experience at Fifth Third Bank. While at Fifth Third, Kirk successfully executed over 100 lead left syndicated transactions involving various forms of senior and junior debt. Prior to this, Kirk had 10 years of investment banking experience involving both mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions at Provident Capital Corp. and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. He has previous experience as a Chief Financial Officer responsible for acquisitions, capital raising activities, and financial systems development. Kirk began his career as a CPA at Ernst & Young after graduating with an accounting degree from Miami University and subsequently obtained his MBA from Indiana University.
