Bio

Derrick is responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence and execution, and monitoring the performance of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Southfield in 2016, Derrick was with HSBC’s Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team for 4 years. While at HSBC, he was involved in underwriting and structuring sub-investment grade debt transactions, managing internal credit committee processes as well as recommending capital structure solutions to financial sponsors and corporate clients. Derrick holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
