Michael Kent has a 25+ year career of starting, building, growing, and improving the profitability, performance, and value of privately-held and private-equity owned enterprises. He has broad industry experience having completed over 21 acquisitions in diverse industries including business services, healthcare staffing, consumer packaged goods, and marketing services. Michael serves as an Advisor and Operating Partner to Skyline Global Partners LLC in these practice areas. In addition to advising Skyline, Michael is the President & CEO of Growth Performance Advisors, LLC, a management consulting firm focused on advising founders, management teams, and investors of entrepreneurial enterprises in the areas of corporate strategy, business development, and process engineering. As a senior executive and entrepreneur who has founded and built three separate companies into industry leaders, Michael has a talent for growing profitable customer-focused businesses through the hands-on leadership of people, processes, and projects. Prior to forming Growth Performance Advisors, Michael co-founded PromoWorks, LLC in 1999. As President he led the revenue growth of the company from a start-up to a $172M market leader over a seven year period. During his tenure, Michael completed several acquisitions in a roll-up of the staffing operations and he led the re-engineering of the financial operations of the company. He directed the sale of the company to private equity buyers in 2005 and continued with the company as CEO until 2010. Michael is also the Chairman and co-owner at Med Staff On-Call, LLC, a healthcare staffing company to over 60 hospitals and clinics in the Midwest. Michael holds a B.S in Finance from Northern Illinois University, and is a recipient of the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award for Marketing Services.
