Bio

Archie Jones serves as an Operating Partner and Advisor. He is also a Professor at Harvard Business School, where he teaches Entrepreneurial Management and Finance to MBA students. Archie is responsible for firm marketing, origination, fundraising and portfolio company value creation. Archie has spent his career coaching leaders in the private and social sectors. Prior to Six Pillars Partners, Archie held executive positions at private equity, and public and private companies including IBM (NYSE: IBM), Kenexa (NYSE: KNXA), NOWaccount Network Corporation, and Parthenon Capital. In addition, Archie serves on the Board of Directors of Fleetcor (NYSE: FLT) and Project Evident. Archie is a Certified Public Accountant, a graduate of Morehouse College, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Archie was born in and grew up in Houston, Texas. He lives in Atlanta and has three sons. When he is not coaching leaders or spending time with family, Archie enjoys travel, golf, and fly fishing.
