Bio

Ted is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Silverhawk Capital Partners. Prior to founding Silverhawk, in 2005, Ted served as Managing Partner of Wachovia Capital Partners (formerly, First Union Capital Partners) from 1989 to 2002. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and Shareholder in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Kidder, Peabody & Company Incorporated in New York. Ted is currently a director of Incline Energy Partners, L.P., Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI), Meridian Chemicals, Spartan Energy Partners and CSI Compression. He was previously a director of Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) from 1997 until the management buyout in 2007, a director of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (KMP) from 2011 to 2014, a director of Athlon Energy (ATHL) from 2013 until its sale to Encana in 2014, and a director of Encore Acquisition Company (EAC) from 2001 until its sale to Denbury Resources, Inc. in 2010. Ted earned his B.A. in Economics from Duke University. He earned his J.D. and his M.B.A degrees from the University of Virginia.
