Bio

Gareth joined Silverfleet in 1997 and became Managing Partner in 2019, heading a team of partners and staff who are located in London, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam and Stockholm. Gareth has led a number of successful investments for Silverfleet in both the UK and Nordic regions, such as Cimbria, OFFICE, Phase One and Phadia. He is currently on the Board of Riviera Travel. Gareth studied Mathematics and Law at Girton College, Cambridge University and went on to qualify as a solicitor with Linklaters before moving into corporate finance, initially with the investment bank SG Warburg, and later within Guinness plc (now Diageo). In recent years, Gareth’s love of ball sports has transitioned from playing golf to throwing balls for the family dog. He has also recently taken-up surfing, and is getting increasingly expert at baking bread.
