Mr. Wellman is responsible for originating, evaluating and executing new investment opportunities and for working with portfolio company management teams on an ongoing basis. Prior to Silver Oak, Mr. Wellman was a Vice President at Crestview Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, where he focused on investments in the industrials, oilfield services, and media sectors. Prior to Crestview, Mr. Wellman was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he focused on investments in the industrials, consumer, and telecom, media and technology services sectors. He began his career in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan.
