Daniel Schmitz has been involved as an investor in all SIP transactions ever since the firm was founded. He joined the team as a Partner in 2020. Before that, he was a Partner of CVC Capital Partners and a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. He is a founding shareholder and Managing Director at Delta Dialyse Partner GmbH, a firm taking care of around 300 dialysis and apheresis patients. In addition to his in-depth knowledge in the health sector, Daniel Schmitz also gained extensive experience in education. Until 2018 he was a seed investor and Managing Director of Wichtel Akademie München GmbH, a childcare group, looking after approximately 2,000 children at 21 locations in the wider Munich area. Daniel graduated from Yale University with a degree in French Literature.
