Bio

Imran joined Signal Hill in 2009, and has over 13 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Previously, he worked for over four years in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch Inc., where he was part of a team assisting with mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions for companies in the North American aerospace, pharmaceutical, mining, retail and manufacturing industries. Imran has also worked as an Associate at an emerging-markets-focused private-equity firm with over US-$7.5 billion of assets under management. Imran currently serves as the Chairman of McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers Ltd., where he has facilitated the completion of over thirteen acquisitions. He also serves on the Board of Directors of City Wide Towing & Recovery Service Ltd. Imran holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Comm. degree from McGill University where he graduated second in his class and made the Dean's Honour List.
