Bio

Upon joining Shore, John Sznewajs will continue Shore’s strategy to deploy industry-focused funds. He will be responsible for partnering with industrial entrepreneurs and companies with $1M to $10M in EBITDA to drive transformational growth. John will lead partnerships and transactions, including investment sourcing and valuation, transaction structuring and corporate development. John has a long history with Shore having invested in every fund since the inception of the firm 14 years ago. Prior to joining Shore, John served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Masco Corporation (NYSE: MAS), a Fortune 500 global manufacturer and marketer of branded home improvement and building products and services. Masco is headquartered in Michigan with over 18,000 employees and 40 manufacturing facilities across the globe. With Masco’s CEO, John co-led an $8.6 billion portfolio of 15+ business units, participating in over 50 countries with more than 40+ consumer and business-to-business brands. John was a strategic partner to the CEO, Chairman and Board of Directors. John spent 27 years at Masco where he was responsible for enterprise-wide strategic and operational financial functions including accounting, tax, financial reporting, internal audit, alternative investments, pension funds, shareholder relations, enterprise risk, long-term strategy, annual planning, and operational strategic and financial compliance activities. Additionally, he served as head of IT and had operational responsibility for three international operations. John has extensive experience driving growth both organically and through M&A, as well as driving value through operational excellence and cash generation. He has led more than $15 billion in M&A transactions throughout his career and has a track record for steering enterprises through major change, both during aggressive growth period, as well as major contraction through strategic direction and systemic execution.
