James is a Partner in SharpVue’s private credit and equity strategy. Prior to joining SharpVue, he served as Managing Director and Investment Committee member at Triangle Capital Corp., a publicly traded business development company with over $1.2 billion of assets under management. While at Triangle Capital, James led the origination, structuring, and execution of lower middle market debt and equity securities in financial sponsor backed and independently operated businesses. Prior to Triangle, James was an investment professional at Cyprium Partners (f/k/a Key Principal Partners), a $1 billion non-sponsor focused provider of mezzanine and junior capital. Prior to Cyprium, Mr. Burke was an investment professional with Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, a $500 million venture capital firm focused on early to mid-stage technology investing.
