Thibaut is Principal in the Investment Team at Apax Development. An engineer by training, Thibaut turned to private equity because of his taste in supporting management teams in their ambitious development plans. Private equity allows him to engage with visionary entrepreneurs and to contribute to the success of great companies. Thibaut chose Seven2 for its entrepreneurial DNA, its culture for innovation, and the important resources to support the great ambitions of portfolio companies. When he’s not learning something new, you’ll find Thibaut exploring a new country and its cultures. Or out catching the next big wave as a passionate surfer. In the quieter moments, Thibaut is applying analytic thinking before making his next move in a game of chess. Thibaut earned an engineering degree from ENSTA in Paris and a Master of Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2015. He began his professional career at EY in 2015 as a consultant in financial modeling. He later joined the Transaction Services practice of Eight Advisory. Thibaut transitioned to private equity in 2018 as a senior associate at Pechel before finally joining Apax Partners (now Seven2) in 2021.
